“THIS SOFT MACHINE” Profile
This Soft Machine was born in Australia, moved to Japan and is currently residing in Germany. This Soft Machine plays lots of different sounds and it has blonde hair. This Soft Machine is kind, generous, funny, and big-hearted. It is 6 feet tall and it wears white t-shirts and jeans, mainly. Musical influences? Yellow Magic Orchestra and Ramones. It emerged with a 2hr mix for Nicolas Jaar’s OTHER PEOPLE serial label, the second sighting was the highest played mix on Oki Ni & their 200th. This Soft Machine is a band at heart. The sounds you hear were recorded by human hands at Linear Studios in Sydney last summer. Dan from Cut Copy helped with recording the synthesizers. Dave Harrington of Darkside played the electric guitar and the alluring vocals on the debut single “On & On” are by Lorraine Nicholson.Debut EP – On & On / This Place Was Meant For Me – Out 13.04.15 via Eskimo Recordings on coloured 7” and digital.
This Soft Machineはオーストラリア出身である。奴はその後日本で活動し、現在はドイツを拠点に活動している。様々なジャンルの音を使いこなす奴。そして奴は金髪である。
奴は親切で、優しく、面白く、大きな心を思っている。身長は182cm、主に白いTシャツとジーンズを着ている。
音楽の影響？Yellow Magic OrchestraとRamones。This Soft Machineの音楽の影響は2時間ミックスのNicolas Jaar’s OTHER PEOPLEのシリアルレーベルでも明らかでmix on Oki Ni & their 200thからも見受けられる。
奴は内実はバンドである。聞こえてくる音は人の手でシドニーのLinear Studiosでレコーディングされている。
昨年の夏、Cut CopyのDanがシンセサイザーで協力し、レコーディングを行った。
Lorraine Nicholsonがボーカルを努めたThis Soft Machineのデビューシングル、“On & On”ではDarksideのDave Harringtonがエレキギターを担当し、彼の魅了するボーカルも含まれている。
奴のデビューEP, “On & On / This Place Was Meant For Me”はEskimo Recordingsからcoloured 7”とデジタルにて４月13日2015年リリース。
